CENTER - A hearing on a habeas corpus motion filed here by the Nebraska Children's Home to obtain care for Morgan Vesely has been postponed.
Knox County District Court Judge Patrick Rogers was scheduled to hear the motion - which had been filed here Monday by the Nebraska Children's Home - on Thursday afternoon. The hearing has now been continued to Monday, Feb. 11, said members of Morgan Vesely's family.
Morgan, who was born Oct. 29, 2007, was adopted by Jason and Angela Vesely of rural Verdigre soon after he was born.
Now the agency that placed him for adoption is attempting to get Morgan back after learning Mrs. Vesely became pregnant.
With a writ of habeas corpus, the court is being asked to rule whether the Veselys are justified in continuing to care for him.

I think this whole thing is bulloney! Doesn't our tax dollars have some other pressing thing to do than to horass this wonderful family from Verdigre. If they have so much extra money they could fix our roads, lower our taxes, or give the money back to us, I can use the money for better things that to cause grief to a Young Couple that deserves a GOOD LIFE, IN NEBRASKA! This family has had enough grief and dismay, this has gone way too far! The whole ordeal needs to come to an end, and we need to have this family remain as one. We have criminals that are getting off scott free. The court's don't take other matters as of great importance, as this one. Please people help this wonderful family, call your Senators, Congressmen, the Govenor enough is enough! God Bless the Vesley Family during this difficult time. The Courts nor the Judges are not above the Good Lord, even though at times they think they are, they too will have to answer for their actions to God. Peace be to the Vesley Family. Amen.

As someone who was a child adopted from the Nebraska Children's Home, I would have to say...Obviously in God's eyes..he feels they are able to handle, love, care for, nuture and be parents to both children. He blessed them with both an adopted child and also a birth child.

I think it is Awful that adoption agency is doing this to a family that truly wanted this child...Just because they had a child doesn;t mean that Morgan won't be loved...How could they take this child away and then place him up again with the risk of sending him to a family that will treat him awful and not get the love that this family wants to give him...SHAME on the adoption agency for putting this poor mother and father through this...God forbid that the child stay with the family and parents that see him as one of their own and give him a beautiful up bringing...SHAME ON YOU nebraska adoption agency!! I will keep the vesely family Jason, Angela, New Baby, AND THEIR SON Morgan Vesley in my prayers and I am hoping the case goes in your favor Vesely's..

Why can't they just leave this family alone. How lucky Morgan is to have a family that loves him and is willing to fight for him amongst all of their other trials at this time. Does the adoption agency think that he will be loved less or his care will lessen now that there are two children? What does that for all other families that may want to adopt that have other children or may one day have children of their own? The adoption agency has already potentially caused harm to one baby -- the Vessely's second son -- do they really want to harm Morgan by taking him for the family that he knows and loves? Shame on Nebraska Children's Home!

WOW!!! This is good news! Why they just can't read between the lines and let the Vesely family rejoice in their happiness!!! I can't understand why NCH decided that the Vesely's were able to care for Morgan and suddenly because they were blessed by another child this means that they aren't able to care for him? I hope Judge Rogers is in his right mind and finds no cause to remove Morgan. Having siblings so close in age can mean a closer bond thru life! What if Morgan had been born a twin? Would the Vesely's only have been able to adopt one of the babies? This is a matter of common sense. Good parents are hard to find and I believe in my heart and prayers that Jason and Angela are great parents! And once again~SHAME ON YOU, NEBRASKA CHILDREN'S HOME!!!
